Itinerary No. 13: Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland tour 17days / 16 days.

Day 01. Delhi / Kolkota to Guwahati. You will reach Guwahati airport by flight. Pickup and drive to Shillong(100km/4hrs drive). Transfer to pre-booking hotel. O/n stay Hotel.

Day 02. Shillong – Silchar(220km/7hrs). After early breakfast we will drive to Cachar District of Assam . Only hill station of Assam state is this sector Cachar district but not yet proper tourist circuit route due to disturb area, so we will over night stay at Silchar is headquarter of Cachar district. O/n stay hotel.

Day 03. Full day visit around Silchar town. And excursion to Hailakandi village for see Hammar tribe, Kachar tribe and Assam Kuki. O/n stay same place.

Day 04. Silchar – Haflong(Assam)(150km/6hrs). Halflong is headquarter of  North Cachar Hills of Assam state. After breakfast we will drive to another destination North Cachar Hills is only hilly place for Assam and very remote area. Please note this point if possible we have a enroute visit of some Kacharis tribe village, Hommar tribe village , Bengali and kuki. O/n stay hotel.

Day 05. Full day visit around Haflong. We will visit Maibong(49km drive). This capital of Kacharis is set on the bank of Mahur. The stone house and temple of Kachari king are quite interesting. And return to hotel. After lunch one more we can visit  Jatinga(12km drive). The place is known for bird mystery, as migratory birds flock here between August and December month every years. Area reputed for the bizarre phenomenon of annual mass suicide by bird. Their local people too not know why bird suicide here. O/n same place.

Day 06. Haflong – Shillong(Meghalaya)(375km/8hrs). This day we need to early drive back to Shillong. O/n stay hotel Hotel .

Day 07. Shillong – Dimapur(Nagaland)(320km/7hrs). Early break and drive to Dimapur is gateway of Nagaland state. It was the ancient capital of the Kacheri rulers. O/n stay Hotel .

Day 08. Dimapur – Diphu(60km/2hrs)(Assam). Full day excursion, Diphu is headquarter Karbi Sub-Divisional of Karbialong District in Assam. We can find out Karbi tribal village and return to Dimapur for over night at same place.

Day 09. Full day we will excursion to Kasiril hill and Dhosiri par 25km drive or Mamulamukh 35km to sightseeing Demasasa tribal village. O/n stay same place at Dimapur.

Day 10. Dimapur – Kohima(75km/3hrs). After early breakfast we will drive to Moiba 50km drive and 10km drive get inside to Naga Kuki tribal village, after visit we will drive straightway to Kohima is capital of Nagaland. Please note we will show Naga’s Kuki. There are two difference Kuki tribe, Naga kuki and Manipur kuki. After visit the tribal village, we will drive to Kohima. O/n stay hotel heritage.

Day 11. Kohima – Tuophema(45km/2hrs). This day we will en route visit Angami tribal village. Evening free and visit around Tuophema tribal village by nature walk also we will conduct culture group. O/nstay Tourist Village resort.

Day 12. Tuophema – Tsemiyu(35km/1.30hrs). Full day excursion around Tsemiyu for visit Rengma tribe. So we need to return a hotel because there are no hotel accommodation. O/n stay same place.

Day 13. Tuophema – Mokochung(158km/5hrs). Evening visit AO tribal village. O/n stay Tourist Lodge.

Day 14. Mokochung – Zunheboto(130km/4hrs). After breakfast drive to next destination a home of  semas tribal. This place are known as festivities district. Evening we can visit tribal village. O/n stay Circuite house.

Day 15. Zunheboto – Tuensang(160km/5hrs). We will drive to Tuensang is home land of Sangtam tribe. Evening free for sightseeing around Tuensang district. O/n lodge.

Day 16. Tuesang – Jorhat(Assam)(236km/6hrs). We will drive to jorhat in Assam. O/n stay hotel.

Day 17. Jorhat – Jorhat airport. After breakfast drop to airport. End of service.

Price:- (Negotiable).  US dollar net per person. (twine share basis).

Cost including. Arrival and departure, We will provide 01 vehicle non a/c jeep, per jeep share by depend on you, Accommodation in standard, Break fast, Lunch, Dinner, (Restricted area permit for Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Part of Sikkim, Tripura), Entrance fee, English speaking guide and local escort.

Cost those not include. Camera fee, personal expanses, any kind of drink, phone call, laundry, Tips. Which are not mention above.

Note:

1.               Please send your document i.e. Xerox copy of passport & visa to be obtain permit processes for Arunachal Pradesh. Document should be reached 4 week in advance.

2.               This traveling circuit is do not have a star hotel. But there is basic standard accommodation only. Circuit house/Tourist Lodge which is run by Government / Small private party. Also this trip will have traveling in very remote and tribal village, facilities are poor service like a telephone, electricity, money changer, road maintained, and you must treat as Nature adventurous trip.
